773 price drops have been detected on MyHome.ie over the past 2 weeks. The report is here.
Leading the charge is an amost 41% drop in Leitrim (provable via google cache). I’ll add the google cache link as a comment to this post.
Finally, the Sunday Mail picked up on the previous IrishPropertyWatch MyHome report #4, and wrote an article about it here:

A 2-week analysis of myhome.ie has uncovered 737 price drops. The report is here.
As always reader input would be welcomed to correct or confirm price drops, but leading the charge are the 4-bed semi-D’s in the south-east, a 36% (178k) drop in Waterford and a 32% (120k) drop in Wexford.
Also worthy of note is the 26% drop (325k) on the asking price of a 3-bed semi-D in Dublin 6.
One estate agent has even gone so far as to add the note “Substantial Price Reduction”, to the listing of a 3-bed detached house in Kilkenny which has dropped it’s asking price by 25% (250k).
The ‘most pointless price drop’ award goes to a 3-bed semi-D in Pollerton Co. Carlow, which dropped it’s asking price by a hefty €500, from €262,500 to €262,000.
Finally – due to to a technical hitch, several thousand (more recently added) properties on myhome.ie were not examined in this analysis.

A 12-Day snapshot of Daft.ie has revealed 820 price drops. The report is here.
Top of the pile is an apparent 33% drop (475k) in Beaufort, Co. Kerry. It will be interesting to see if this can be verified or proved invalid via the google cache or other sources.
The report has also detected what appear to be some sizable drops in the prices of some new builds – I would appreciate some reader input in identifying whether these drops are in fact accurate. Any ‘new build’ drops in the report come with the usual caveat that the analysis tool can be tricked by these (when an estate-agent re-uses the same page to advertise multiple properties).
However, some new build drops that at least initially appear accurate are the almost 21% drop (100k) on a 4-bed new build in Castletroy, Limerick and the 19% drop (130k) of a 3-bed new build in Furbo, Co. Galway. The associated google cache links will be added as comments to this post.
Finally, please add any corrections/verifications as comments to this post, thanks.
