As a number of properties have dropped the price more than once. We thought we would take a look at the overall drop taking this into account.

We have also added analysis by area, bedrooms and property type.

As this is a work in progress any comments and suggestions would are welcome.

MyHome Report #9 [RE-RUN] – 24/06/07 – 865 Price Drops Detected

July 1, 2007

MyHome Report #9 has been re-run (see previous post for excuses!). Due to the re-run the report covers 3 weeks instead of the normal 2 week period (The report covers the period 03/06/07 – 24/06/07). 865 drops were detected which even given the extra week is a marked increase in the number of drops per week. The report is here.

This run also analysed increases. Due to a software bug I was only able to determine increases from the very beginning of IPW until now (aprox. 4/500 over several months, they need to be cleaned up before publishing). I have an idea of how to determine which ones occoured around the budget. From the next report, each report will have a 2-week list of increases detected now that the bug has been fixed.

Updates to follow.
